July 2007

Alright…due to my efficiency, i am able to spare some time to clean up the moss that’s growing on my blog. Right right….Projects are coming to an end. I can finally heave a sigh of relieve. Just a few words to my classmates or whoever has loads of projects to do. Never give up.. i don’t mean it the cliche way…not to inspire, but to talk sense. Giving up starts a snowball effect…for example failing which might cause us to retain..haha..so sensible. Let me spot the efficiency of yours and we will recruit you in the efficiency club! So come on, what are you waiting for? Lets be efficient!!!!!

My blog has officially gone stagnant. Will be back when all projects are handed in successfully…….See ya!

“you may not like him, minister. But you can’t deny the fact that dumbledore has got style”

Awesome Awesome!! But that was the only memorable scene i remembered from Harry Potter The order of the phoenix. Yes….indeed Dumbledore has got style. But as for the movie, i beg to differ. There was laughter..but not really that funny. It’s alright cause Harry Potter is not of a comedy genre. The graphics were great as ever and yes…Harry Potter and companys’ dress sense has improved tremendously. British style smart casual wear. My favorite.

I’ve heard many comments on the abrupt death of Sirius (hope i spelled that correctly). Yes, it really left me with the “huh, he die liao ah?” feeling. From my point of view, Syrius meant alot to Harry Potter. Being his godfather, he should at least be given a much more grand death rather than being killed instantly with a snap of the finger by his ghostly and haunting cousin. Poor thing….

The ending was also another disappointment. They simply left it hanging there. For those who read Harry Potter The order of the phoenix, i guess it would be a disappointment for you all.

This entry is dedicated to my beloved family…always remember we are not a clique. We are more than that. Time passes and we all grow. There will be a time where we will have to be separated to pursue our own life. You all can see it. Its starting to happen now.

Our relationship have developed over the years. From the days where we were all saying “I don’t friend you” and kept fighting over the tiniest things. We have came to a point in time that in whatever we do, we keep each other in mind. Isn’t it wonderful that we have each other in our lives? Some people have plenty of friends. But those friends come and go. Whereas we, we have each other to hold on to. What will happen if we weren’t friends in the beginning?

As i’m writing this…i’m on the brim of tears. The tears comes from the refusal to let go. Indeed, i will never let go. Even as fate tries to tear us apart…so long the heart is there, we will never part. Renee, Huiwen and Samantha… Thanks. Hope that in the future, we will be able to bring our grandchildren for gatherings. May our friendship last till the next generation……

Sometimes having such a productive digestive system isn’t a thing to be joyous about. The agony of having to detox at a wrong time is unbearable. You just have to be constantly on the search for empty toilets. The best way to solve that is to bring a tam pui (potty) around. Well if you really do that…you will become my laughing stock..If anyone could grant me a wish, it would be to have a more sensible bowel who knows when it’s owner wants to detox.

Enough of my bowels… I’m starting to miss secondary school days. Those days in the kampong school…speaking freely in class. Having fun and dozing off….joking with our beloved Mrs Tay…its all gone….Just a picture for you all to reminisce (click to view)

Tomorrow…is the day….for me….to do my projects and queue for donuts at city hall….crazy thing to do…it will only show that i’m too free….but what to do? It’s the only way to entice MEDUSA Lee Ming Ying to meet us for project. Haiz….Adios.

Life goes on and the days pass astonishingly fast. I shouldn’t be here. I should be taking my nap….but still its my responsibility to update my blog..not on a diurnal basis though. That would mean i’m too free…

Quite a few things happened today…some dampened my mood some really cheered me up..

I injured my ankle on Thursday night (that happened because of my excitement to see my mother visiting me in my aunt’s house a.k.a haw par villa…hope that my aunt doesn’t read blogs) I ran down the stairs and crack..there goes my ankle. I spent a great fortuneĀ  trying to get my ankle healed by the sinseh. (i could have won BIG SWEEP with that amount of money) Due to the many people around me….i restrained myself from shouting at the clinic when the sinseh rubbed forcefully at my ankle and cracked it a few times. I ended up sitting by the edge of the chair, ankles being pulled towards the sinseh and hands holding tight to the handle to prevent myself from falling off the chair. The uncle beside me was rather delighted to see me endure the pain without much effort. Total coolness. The payment for it really changed my facial expression as i was reluctant to separate with my money.

Event 2…project meeting for F&B at Takashimaya…. Fancy meeting our F&B tutor over there… One word to sum the project meeting: Efficiency

After the meeting, i had to travel to Ren Nai’s house. As it was pouring heavily then, i decided to wait for the rain to stop before walking up to Ren Nai’s house. Thinking that i would be free from moisture…none of that happened. As i sat on the bench…i was being humiliated by the oncoming cars…giving me showers of blessing as they passed. All those driving BMW, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes S, C, E classes (main culprits) just a piece of advice….please refrain from speeding during rainy days. Having said that, there was one young man’s plight who was worse than mine… He was holding on to the umbrella, walking along the pavement. The thing is even though he had his umbrella, he was drenched. As he was walking past me, a car went past him and he tried to shield himself with the umbrella but to no avail. Fed-up, he kept his umbrella and walked in the rain instead. Manliness. It was hysterical. The heartwarming thing was….Ren Nai and her granddad drove down to fetch me..i was cold on the outside but warm in the inside.. utterly touched by this gesture.

W e than gathered at Sam’s house for a scrumptious meal prepared by her grandma. Crabs, crabs and more crabs….Oh yeah..during the stay at her house we sort of watched Amelie (a french film) strongly recommended by Miss Medusa Lee Ming Ying. It was a high class film so to say…but we can’t understand.. guess we would have to watch it like a Lit film….

Life goes on from then on and project work is giving us all our eye bags, headaches, bad hair, bad skin and fatigue.. Signing off.. au revoir!

Finally, the much awaited Saturday was here yesterday. It will be over in a blink of an eye. Currently not in the mood of posting something. But still, i can’t let my blog remain stagnant for such a long period of time. (stagnant water helps breed mosquitoes, stagnant blog helps breed frustrated readers)

Let’s take a look at what happened on 30th June 2007 in Cherina’s life. Here goes, since it’s a day before the GST rises, Cherina and company decided to go for a shopping trip (not spree ah…not financially capable to indulge in that kind of activity). The absolute place to do that is the WAREHOUSE sale by G2000 and U2. Everything going cheap. It’s really a thumbs up for those who wants good deals. The bad news is, the warehouse sale ends TODAY.

Activity 2: Guzheng Concert. Well, i’m not really a big fan of guzheng but since my buddy is performing, i have to go. Throughout the whole concert only the soloist caught my attention. The rest was ok. Some songs were above average. The soloist, being a Sec One was so skillful in bringing out the feeling for that song. Cool man. Other than that, my attention was on Renee’s kid brother. He was irritating yet humorous. He’s amazing capability was that he can ask you a joke riddle without knowing the answer himself and starts laughing the moment he starts telling you the joke. Pure entertainment. Well, what would you expect from a Pri 2 kid. Moreover, he’s Renee’s kid brother. The Guzheng concert ended with him trying to figure out how to play the games in my handphone. When it’s time for him to return my phone, i had to seize it away from him. I emerged victorious and left him to his histrionics.

How i wish i have a kid brother…. Signing off. See you..
